Here is something that you might not believe, but I think that it is true. When we went to Regina for our eighth grade field trip I saw Sasquatch steal Tanner’s beef jerky. It happened when we all went outside to eat lunch. It was nice and quiet there till Tanner started to tease him. Sasquatch chased him down and stole the jerky.

Tanner was very mad, so he went on a hunt for Sasquatch. He was able to see the beast but he was never able to catch him. Tanner chased down Sasquatch for about 5 minutes in the trees. He had to give up because the teacher said that they had to go inside. And that is the story of how I saw Sasquatch steal Tanner’s jerky.

There are rumors going around that Gooby is a werewolf. It was said that he was seen going behind his grandma Ramona’s house on Saturday night, and didn’t come out until the next morning.
During that time, it was said that the moon had came out, and Gooby at the time, had been chasing a bunny in the meadow. When the moon shined on his curly hair, he suddenly turned into a werewolf.
There have been a few werewolves sightings around town, that usually take place between 10 and 10:15. He is only around for a little bit every day, but he is destructive.
In only 15 minutes every night, he kidnaps about 92 cats, steals washing machines from homes, and will eat all of your Oreo’s.

Fatbaby Ariat boots are very popular they not only look good, but they are also very comfortable. They have a western style and there are many designs to choose from. They are a high quality boot and you get what you paid for.

I wear only Fatbaby Ariat boots and I get lots of complements on them and everyone asks where I got them. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new pair of boots to look for Fatbaby Ariat boots.

The only thing I don’t like about them is when you are walking on cement or tile they are really loud. The base of the boot is wider than the leather part which fits to your foot which makes is sound louder.
These boots used to be big and bulky but they have recently changed the style to a square toe so they are not as big as they were before.

For more information on these boots click here or here

The Hail Mary

There are over 75,000 people in a packed football stadium on a Sunday afternoon. You can smell the intensity in the air as the home team starts with a first down at their own 35 yard line. The ball is snapped, and the quarterback pumps it to one of his wide outs. The receiver lets the ball slip through his fingers. It is 2nd and 10. The quarterback hands it off to his halfback, who has no success.
The visiting teams exhales, assured that they will walk away with a win, seeing they are up by a field goal as the home team sets up a 3rd and 10 attempt. The offense moves into shotgun formation, and the ball is snapped. The quarterback moves deeply out of the pocket, and throws a long pass to the end zone…
Wondering what happens next? Well, I don’t know what happens next, but if you were in that stadium that day, you would’ve seen what is called a Hail Mary Pass. The Hail Mary is a long pass made by the quarterback out of pure desperation. You would use a Hail Mary if you were down by only a few points, a long way from your end zone, and there was little to no time left in the game.
The Hail Mary was said to be “invented”(I think they just came up with a name for it) in the 1975 NFC divisional playoff game. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach had take lead over the Minnesota Vikings and win the game. The Cowboys were down 14-10 with less than a minute to go.
The Cowboys took over at their 15 yard line, and gained 9 yards to get to midfield. They were on 4th down. Staubach caught the snap and hurled the ball all the way down the field. One of his wideouts barely caught the ball, but did, and backed into the end zone. The Cowboys won.
So, why is this play called the Hail Mary? When a reporter asked Staubach what gave him the guts to throw the deep pass, he said: “I closed my eyes and prayed a Hail Mary.” The Hail Mary was born.

Want more information on it? Click here.

Vlad Dracula

Vlad was the prince of Wallachia in 1448, got kicked out then came back 1456 1462, and killed all the boyars or nobles that helped kick him out. Then got kicked out again and came back in 1476.

His first reign began after his father died in a rebellion. Vlad was next in line for the throne but the rebellion attacked and Vlad ran not having enough men to make an army. He fled to Moldavia, where he lived under the protection of his uncle Bogdan II.

His second reign began after he allied with the Ottoman Empire and took over Wallachia. He had three goals help the economy, strengthen the army, and his own power.

He then betrayed the Ottomans by joining the crusade against them called by Pope Pius II. Vlad was the only king that brought an army to fight the Ottomans. In the winter of 1461 Vlad crossed the Danube killing the 20,000 Ottomans soldiers between Serbia and the Black Sea. Sultan Mehmed was furious and gathered an army of 100,000 men. Vlad only had 30,000. He resorted to guerrilla warfare until Mehmed enter Wallachia and saw his previous army of 20,000 all impaled on stakes. Mehmed and his entire army turned and went back to Turkey. He thought the Wallachia territory was not worth the men he would lose.

The people were sick of Vlad’s reign of terror and rebelled, he was forced to leave yet again. This time he ran to Hungary.

In 1476 the High Council decided that Vlad would be the best choice for king, since he was a strong leader and won many victories against the Turks. He invaded Wallachia with the help of the Hungarians. This reign lasted only two months he died in a battle against the Turks.

The Turks decapitated Vlad and brought his head back to Constantinople as proof that the Impaler really was dead. His supposed resting place was in a monastery at Snagov but when the coffin was opened only animal bones remained.

Everyone knows Dracula, the blood sucking vampire, but few people know that he was modeled after Vlad the Impaler. He tortured and killed 80,000 people. For more information click here

There are different types of insulin. I take Humalog and Lantus. Those are only two kinds of insulin. There are quite a few types of insulin. There are short acting, very rapid acting, intermediate acting, & long acting insulin’s. Humulin R and Novolin Toronto are short acting. Very rapid acting are Humalog(insulin Lispro). NPH is a type of intermediate type of insulin. Lantus is a long lasting type of insulin.

Some people sometimes use insulin belts. A belt gives you insulin when you need it. This doesn’t mean you can go on an eating spree but then you don’t have to always to figure it out. I hope when I get older I can get a belt. You can get a pancreas transplant which I want to get one day. Insulin is growth hormone.

Computers have many different parts. A manufacture company will start with a motherboard. The motherboard is pretty much the brain of your computer it determines how high-tech your computer will be. Other key components are the central processing unit, random-access memory, power supply, optical drive, hard disk, and operating system.

Computers are first put together by aligning the motherboard with a microprocessor chip. A microprocessor chip incorporates all of the functions of the CPU into one integrated system. The heat sink is the next part to be put together. A heat sink absorbs the heat from another object by using thermal contact and is connected to the motherboard by a power lead. The RAM is installed next, and it locks down onto the motherboard. Next the motherboard is put into its case. The power supply, faceplate and standoff are put into the case to keep the motherboard in place. Then, their wires are connected.

The final process is the installation of the hard drive and CD-ROM drive. The hard drive is connected to the power supply, and the CD-ROM drive connects to the motherboard in the case. After the case is closed, a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and speakers are added. All of these devices have wires that connect with the devices inside your computer case. Finally, the case is checked to make sure all the parts are working properly. If the case is working correctly, four things happen when it is turned on: the hard disk will begin to spin, lights in the case will glow, fans will start working and the monitor will turn on. This will indicate that the motherboard is working efficiently.

Who is the greatest baseball player in the world? Some say Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron, or Roger Maris. Well I think it is #7, Joe Mauer. He is the catcher for the Minnesota Twins. If you don’t know anything about him, YOU SHOULD!!!!! He has won the American batting title and is the first catcher in the HISTORY of baseball to win a batting title or three.

Joseph Patrick Mauer was born on April 19, 1983. His father, Jake, made him a contraption called the “Quickswing”. When Joe was four he was asked to leave his t-ball game because he hit the ball too hard for the other players.

In his four years of high school he struck out only once and when he was in Little League he was chosen to be on the USA Little League team where he was voted best batter. After he graduated he was pictured in the 2000 edition of Sports Illustrated. He also averaged twenty points a game in basketball and was also a quarterback in football. He turned down a football scholarship to Florida State. Instead he applied for the 2001 baseball draft.

In Mauer’s spare time he makes rap videos, models, and works at his baseball camp. He will be featured on the video game (MLB: The Show) and he is the first catcher to ever be pictured on a cover of a video game. He lived with his friend and teammate, Justin Morneau, until Justin got married. All of his brothers have been drafted by the Twins. His trade mark is his sideburns. The Twins even had “Joe Mauer Sideburns Night”, the first 10,000 fans even got FAKE SIDEBURNS. For more info click here
